I have read quite a few books on Maratha history and Chattrapati Shivaji as well. I must say that in my humble opinion this book written by Shri Gajanan B Mehendale Sir is the most comprehensive, detailed and completed book on Shivaji 's life and times. It is of the calibre of Jadunath Sarkar 's "Life and Times of Shivaji " if not less/5(15).
